It s a really good hotel if you come by train (Gare du nord)It s like 250 meters from the station. The room was really good and comfortable. But i think that price is a little expensive but if you can afford it, go there.

Not all staff spoke English, but they were very friendly and helpfull. Top location: next to Gare du Nord. Breakfast quite expensive, next door you will find a better/cheaper breakfast in a café.

A typical 3* hotel with ameneties you'd expect, but not any more. Note that breakfast is not included in the price (not sure if that's standard in Paris or not). Lacks French character - it's Comfort Inn after all (I didn't realize it was from the American chain until I saw the logo there). The staff was impersonal but reasonably helpful when asked.

For a 2 star hotel, it met our expectations. Staff was excellent and fluent in English. Our room had no Air Conditioning (but did have an electric fan), which helped somewhat with the hot and humid weather. The streets between the Gare du Nord and the hotel were under repair(they said it had been going on for months)and we had to cross excavations deep in dust to get to and from the hotel. Hotel bed was quite small for two people.

Hotel gare du nord is perfect as a base in Paris.Easy to get to everything and literally next to the train station! Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English which is always great. Rooms are small but big enough as long as your not planning on spending the whole day in your room!!

This is the last hotel we stayed at during our 2 month trip to europe, and it was by far the worst. The hotel itself wasn't too bad considering the price, but the rudeness of the staff was disappointing, and is what led to our bitter feelings about the hotel. The reception staff were very unwelcoming, and made you feel like it was a real problem for them to be speaking to you and answering your questions ( in english ). It was also very noisy. No fridge, no air-conditioning, so you needed your windows open, but with the windows open all you could hear is street noise (heavy traffic and road works). We couldn't wait to leave paris...I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy !

In need of renovation and investment. Furniture basic and beyond sellby date. No complaints on cleanliness but annoying things like TV control not working and light bulbs missing.

Of normal build,and average weight for my height, I was surprised that I needed to enter the small passage area from the bathroom to the shower section, sideways, as the entry was narrower than my shoulders' width.(Rm 101) Apart from that, the tiny single room was clean, quiet and warm. There is a good Chinese restaurant next door to the hotel, and several other restaurants within 100 metres. Breakfast was a Do-it-yourself cold buffet. Extremely conveniently located for Gare Du Nord Station - within a few metres.

the hotel was fine and the staff were very accommodating when I had to return to collect my luggage and was in a hurry to get to a railway station urgently. I cannot really comment in detail as I only stayed one night for the room only and my companion was in a very bad mood at the time which did mar my stay unfortunately!!

This hotel was slightly smaller than I had anticipated but its location was perfect for sightseeing around Paris - the train and Metro stations were right on the doorstep, the hotel staff were very friendly and appreciated it if you tried to speak some French. I would definitely use this property again and booking on the internet was quick and efficient.

the hotel is situated very conveniently. i was placed in a small room beside the stairs and there is always noise from people coming up and down the stairs. the hotel offered free internet services. but i had a problem getting connected with my laptop. it was not wireless and i had to figure out a way using the telephone port. i was not able to connect and told the female receptionist of my problem. she answered back that i probably don't know much about my computer as other visitors have been able to use the internet. i find this a very rude answer, since the reason i asked for her help is i really do not know how to get connected. i ended up going to an internet cafe nearby. i would recommend the hotel to print an instruction on a piec of paper and include it in their standard information folder which they leave in each room. i did not have any problems with the other comfort hotels in the usa, nor with other accor hotels in germany. i travelled to paris for the third time this year and stayed at three different venere hotels. this was the most unpleasant despite this, being the most convenient in terms of location.
