The hotel manager (I think his name is Mr Gard) was very rude to me when I asked for an additional blanket. He shouted at me, and I assure you no one ever shouted at me in any hotel in the world! So I have to warn everyone NBOT to stay in this hotel!

The location is great - only 2 minutes to the Metro. But it is strange because I was given a TV controller when I checked in. The controller was half broken, and it didn't work well. I only stayed at this hotel one night, so I didn't dare complain it. When I checked out, I was scolded by the hotel staff because I didn't bring down the TV controller. I told him that it was broken, and he became so angry and started shouting at me. As I was in a hurry, I didn't answer back. Other staff were all right, but I think you should know that the only good point about this hotel is its good location.

Very well located but don't go there if you want too stay in bed late in the morning. Walls are so thin it's like sleeping in the corridor with all the customers moving their stuff.

At night while staing in a room you could here people on hotel stairs and talking in their rooms. Very old furniture, especially our bathroom was in bad conditions and we could not close the door in bathroom Staff was nice and helpfull.

Very, very quaint. A cheap hotel with minimum facilities, a tiny bathroom and small towels - bring your own. You definitly only get what you pay for, a rooom and a bed. It's only 100 meters from the Moulin Rouge and a few other shows, so at night 8.30 to 9.30ish there's lots of traffic from busses picking up tour groups, blocking the street as they do. The staff were pleasant and helpful, in a French sorta way. The blanche metro was a couple of minutes walk away as well as the buses routes. This hotel is on the edge of the red light district - so some seedy bars in the area.

Wery calm and clean. Nice service and the location is perfect ! So much live in this arrea really nice resaurants for example the coffe house where the movie amelie was filmed. It takes about 20.min to go central in the metro. Thank you for making our stay in Paris PERFECT.

Very Basic hotel with unfriendly staff - except for the evening/night staff who were very friendly. The day staff were unprofessional - when pointing out that the milk served with breakfast was sour, they tried to say that milk was supposed to have lumpy bits in it!! The rooms were very basic with poor lighting - Faulty Towers without the humour!

Old facilities, a lot of noise coming from all over because of thin walls, not that clean, filthy corridors, some rooms not having plugs, breakfast including only hot drink (coffee-tea-chocolate) one piece of bread, one croissant, butter and marmelade. Only good thing: location.

We stayed in this hotel hoping that it would be a very clean basic hotel. It turned out to be a hole. The room was so small you could barely move (even by Paris standards) and it was not clean at all. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, and although the bathroom was new it was so small you that you hit your head on the sink when you used the toilet. Overall the worst hotel we stayed at on our trip.

This is a rather quaint and old fashioned hotel, but it was in a very good location close to the Blanche Metro station. A kettle in the room would be a real bonus.
