This is our thrid stay at this hotel and can highly reccomend. Although the rooms as small, this is standard in central Paris. We will continue to return to this hotel as the quality/location is excellant and location couldnt' be better. I think this hotel would best suited towards couples.

We were 4 women travelling to Paris, some for the 1st time. The rooms were small and cramped for 2 women sharing; Good bathroom and large windows opening to a balcony with lovely view. Staff were not very helpful or especially courteous. Location was good. For the money there were many properties superior to this one.

We prepaid our 5 days hotel booking, yet when we arrived at the hotel there was no reservation and they had never heard of us. If the hotel had been fully booked we would have been in a very bad situation indeed. It took a fair bit of research on their part to rectify confirm that we indeed were booked. Please review the system that allowed this to happen.

The Hotel has an arrangement with a taxi firm and charges 55 Euros to the CDG airport and sells it as a fixed price and it would appear that the Taxi Company get 40 and they 15 for making the phone call. After checking I discovered that the normal taxi fare to the airport is usually 40 Euros but the Hotel manager sells their arrangement on the basis its a fixed rate and not metered. To me it's a bit of a scam and my advice would be to call a cab yourself.

The location of this hotel is excellant- this is my second time staying here. From shopping around online, the price also seems reasonable. On both occasions Venere were considerably cheaper than other websites and a lot cheaper than booking directly with the hotel. On our first stay we were on the 6th floor which was much more spacious + quieter than the 1st floor rooms where we stayed last (also no view on 1st floor). In general the staff are typically french and not all that friendly (except from one guy who was very helpful). Rooms are serviced well and very clean. I would stay here again for definite if I knew for sure that I had a room on the upper floors but after our last experience I will consider other hotels in the area even if they are that bit more expensive.

convenient for railway line. excellent for exploring Left Bank & Ile de la Citie. Friendly, hospitable staff.Quiet during august don't know what it's like when the Sorbonne is in session. Ah Paris! Ah Hotel Notre Dame la Tour. I wish I was there now.

bathroom was unbelievably tiny. could not stand up straight in shower due to slanted roof. i am only 5'7" and i was too tall for it. also, we could not sit on toilet straight, only sideways! however, room was very clean, quiet, great location.
