The location is great, next door to the Gare du Nord. Room fairly quiet and clean. However, a very dirty utility room for staff was left open (without any staff in it) just next to my room door. The door card suddently stopped working one night, had to go 2 times up and down on the elevator. The internet (for a charge) stopped working for the last 2 days of my stay for no reason.

The hotel was conveniently located in between the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est, which is what we wanted. However it was opposite a sex shop, just next door to another and I didn't like the gangs of men hanging around. I was uncomfortable and didn't like going out alone, even in daylight. The room was small and had the ventilation running through it, so that's all we heard through the night. The windows were noise proof so we didn't hear the busy road outside, but kept awake by ventilation! The bathroom was good and they gave us free tea, coffee and a kettle when we asked for it. We didn't have breakfast as at 13Euro it was pricey, and we walked round to Gare del'Est and had something for 5Euro. Don't think I'd go back as I didn't like the area.

The hotel is located near Gare du Nord that is very convenient for travelling to the suburbs and it takes only 30 minutes walk to get to the city center. The rooms are not too big but very clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly and can send you an official reservation confirmation if you need it.

For Paris the price is OK, but you have to have in mind, that the Breakfast is not in price inclusive.

My main reason for choosing this hotel was that there was air-conditioning in the rooms, but it was not efficient enough to ever make the room comfortably cool. The room was on the top floor just under the roof so probably got hotter than others lower down. Unless I opened tha window it was very stuffy. The breakfast was very good but costs 13 Euros extra so not worth it if you don't want to eat much. Convenient location if arriving at the Gare du Nord. Just around the corner is an interet cafe that is much cheaper than using it in the hotel.

nice hotel in good location,shame about the overpowering smell of airfreshener in the hotel and bedrooms. hotels should have dedicated non-smoking areas,rather than being spryed to mask the smell...

central air system did not work well at all but weather allowed opening of windows at night; room was average; VERY close to train station; breakfast fair but at extra charge, good service and excellent coffee; very very small elevator the size of a door mat! but overall impression was good; will stay again; good hotel choice for a short stay
