I have no words to describe the dreadful service that I received in this hotel. Eventhough I made my cancellation on the system, they charged my credit card double price for a single room I'd never used. When I called Venere, they lasted DAYS to tell me they didn't know anything about the problem. When I called the hotel, they hanged up the telephone, gave me false names but never an answer. I will never go neither to France nor to this hotel again and of course I will NEVER, EVER use this service again. I will write as well an article to the newspaper Reforma in Mexico which on Sundays has an special section of 10 or 12 pages to give recommendations of hotels, airlines, cities to visit, travel, etc so that everybody knows the extremely low quality of this services. And think it twice, French people or venere are unable of speaking another language that French or English when someone complains about the service. Weird, right??

This hotel is desperately in need of refurbishing. The wall coverings were frayed (!), the draperies were tattered, and the frame of the glass shower enclosure was probably moldy. Also, the automatic front door to the hotel opened with a terrible screech - and that was when one was half-way down the hall to the elevator or up the stair to the lobby. The bed was fine, the pillows were so-so. The location is great and this could be a good boutique hotel but it really needs some money being spent on it.

Hotel was well located; very close to Subway, easy walk to Eiffel Tower. Hotel was clean and staff were very helpful. Double room was not very spacious but okay for the short time I was there. Was a slight smell in the room of damp but otherwise okay.

Only problem I had was with bill. We were charged for 4 breakfasts for two days. I should have checked the bill when we checked out, but we were in a hurry to catch shuttle to airport.

Amazing location and amazing staff! Prices were extremely affordable during the month of August and you have a view of the Eiffel tower from the roof terrace which is wonderful.

It would be hard not to like this hotel, since it is perfectly situated in one of the most interesting areas of Paris with a good bistrot next door. The rooftop breakfast area was even better in the evening to watch the sunset and the Eiffel Tower lights come on at 10. I will alway stay there. the rooms are nice but of course, being in Paris, small but had everything one needed.

The rooms in this hotel look nothing like the photos. The roof terrace was a joke with nothing going for it. The sheets had holes in them, better blankets are probably provided by the army. The rooms were very small. In our double room we were only provided with one towel. The décor in the common areas is tired and very dated. The safe was broken. There is no air conditioning. While it is very close to the Rue de Bac metro station that is not very useful as the line doesn’t go to any of the main attractions and it is a good 10 – 15 min walk to the Saint Germain metro station which is on the same line as the Gard de Nord. Over all we were not impressed and for 110 Euros we think you can do much better.

The location and access to the Metro is the best. Service is fare. The room did need some upkeep as one of the walls was not in good repair and the bed spread needed replacement. Overall the room was clean and safe.

Very accommodating staff. A few inexpensive additions would improve the rooms greatly. i.e. new bedspreads, waste baskets in room. The location is perfect. I would stay there again.
