I should have read the reviews prior to making my booking. Although we booked our room at the Apollo Opera Hotel, when we arrived there, we were sent to a sister-hotel named Eurohotel, right in front of the Moulin Rouge. The room when we arrived was really dirty, cigarette butts were all over the place, bed linen was not changed, the furniture was smelly and there was no fridge although it was guaranteed in the conditions of the booking. The hotel's staff was not helpful at all and pretty rude at times. They never put in the fridge, despite being asked in polite French a number of times. When we asked to change the dirty linen from the previous guests, we were given a lecture that it's usually done by another shift. After 10-min. deliberations and tipping we got the sheets changed. Taking into consideration the overall conditions in the room we felt grateful not to be bitten by bedbugs. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was the worst hotel experience in my life.

our hotel room was tiny and on a very busy street in which we could hear all traffic going by and it was extremly hard to sleep, it was also right on the verge of the red light district and it was full of prostitutes and men fighting. this was not mentioned on the internet site were we booked the hotel. all in all we were very disappointed with it.

The receptionist was very helpful. The breakfast was almost non-existant. The noise from the street was terrible when we were at the front of the hotel but thankfully the back room was fine. The hotel is very basic but clean.

Don't bother with this hotel they take your booking but when you get there they tell you you are booked into another hotel down the road which is only 2 star they were doing this to several people when we were there. As you have already paid a fee to agents there is not a lot you can do to complain.
