The hotel was well located. The day shift receptionist was helpful. His night shift colleague was enthusiastic at first but having failed to persuade us to join a river cruise, refused to look at us upon our return to the hotel. Worse, when the hairdryer in my room stopped working due to overheating, he declined to offer any solution. Upon my insistence, I was allowed to use the dryer in the next room but commented that my hairstyle did not need blowdrying at all. Lastly, I was questioned by the maid in the morning why I needed a new toilet roll as I was to check out in the same morning. Suggest that more training be provided to hotel staff to make their guests more welcome.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! Unfortunately our room was next to the reception area and the elevator, which made it tremendously noisy during the entire night and very early in the morning. Due to that we were not able to sleep at all which, altohether, made our stay in Paris not very restorative. Our complaints to the staff of the hotel and the wish to change the room were ignored and denied by them. Furthermore, our treatment by them was generally very unsatisfying. Moreover, the price we were supposed to pay was higher than the price we were told in advance by venere.com. However, after discussing this issue with the receptionist we didn't have to pay more in the end (at least). The area, however, is quite nice for people who want to go out at night and who want to go shopping. The metro is also close to the hotel, which is good. The rooms were okay except the TV didn't work either, we had no shower curtain in the bathroom and the beds were too short for us. We didn't have breakfast there because it was way too expensive. So all in all I would advise you to book a different hotel and moreover, I would consider depreciating the hotel's stars to the amount of 2.

My travel partner and I were both aware upon booking this trip that rooms in Paris are small. Our room was actually larger than what I initally expected but still quite small compared to US standards. The biggest thing I had a problem with was that our sheets were not changed reguarly and we were there for 7 nights. Everything is an extra charge - the safe in the rooms, airport delivery, breakfast, etc. It may be convenient to have breakfast at the hotel over the weekend as a great deal of places are not open early in the morning to grab coffee or breakfast. Additionally, it would be remiss of me to not mention that the hotel shuttle does not actually pick you up at the airport as is advertised. We were in for a rude awakening when we arrived and were looking for our hotel shuttle at CDG. They do take you from the hotel to the airport but be advised that despite what the conceriege tells you at the hotel, you must pay cash as a down payment and then to the driver as well. We were told that the driver would take a credit card when we left the hotel. All in all, I would advise skipping the shuttle service and taking the metro and RER line in. It's cheaper, faster and you won't have to deal with an incredibly rude driver taking you to the wrong terminal of the airport. Most of the front desk attendants spoke English which was very helpful as my French, at best, is broken. The gentlemen who worked there were quite helpful and polite to us; whereas the women who worked a few days seemed incompetent and rude. The area itself is not bad. It's not convenient either. The street is a little side street that is just a speck on a map. Not easy to find when you are lost in a foreign city. The metro station is close by but I found it incredibly inconvenient to have to use it to go everywhere. Though, we sacrified convenience for price on this trip. I recommend a hotel closer to the main attractions of Paris if you are on a short stay. Or even if

The people at this hotel were extremely friendly. The rooms are exactly what they look like. The only thing was you had to pay 2.50 Euro a day for the safe. The metro is about 1 1/2-2 blocks away...very close. There is a main street with a lot of restaurants and shops the same distance away. I would definitly stay here again1

Our main concern in selecting a hotel was if they had AC......supposedly, Acadia Opera had AC. Granted it was pretty hot outside, but our room on the 7th floor was at least 80-85 inside. AC Fan kept blowing but never cooled off the room. Mentioned it to the desk and they just sort of ignored me. Would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone.....besides the AC not working properly, it was extremely noisy.

After going around in circles for an hour and a half trying to find the hotel. We were told it was full and were moved to Hotel Lorrett, which was newly renovated and turned out to be right on a metro stop.Slightly further out of the city than we intended, but all in all we were very pleased and would recommend the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were very clean.

It is a very clean and comfortable hotel. I was a little worried about the standard as it was cheap but it was just like the pictures show. The location is good only two stops from the Opera on the metro ( plenty of big department stores for the shoppers). Overall I was happy with the accomodation it's good value for money and I would stay there again.
