This is the second time we have stayed at the Amaracord. The hotel is great because of its central location. All teh sights, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and spacious and the staff is very accomadating. We have stayed in 3 other hotels in Palermo, but we feel Amarcord gives the best value for money and best location.

well situated, in spite of the entrance being only on the first floor. Rooms are comfortables and spacious, Great kindness of people and they managed the absence of parking in the hotel with the help of parking outside quite easily

Very small but comfortable and brand new hotel. It is otherwise on the first floor and the reception is in the breakfast room, all in one space. The quadriple room is very large and the bathroom is ok. The only nuisance is the neon light outside just aside the window. Anyway I woul suggest this hotel, in a very good position, near Via Roma an via Maqueda.

A very pleasant hotel, near to Politema in central Pelermo. The bus from the aeroport stops at Politeama, which is convenient. The woman on reception during the day was exceedingly kind and helpful. The room was pleasant, if small as would be expected given the location and price. Breakfast is the typical Italian fare, but better than average coffee and pastries. The only problem that marred the stay was workmen starting very early in the building's atrium. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a pleasant place to stay and good value for money.

It was just excellent to stay at Amarcord Hotel in Palermo. A nice place, located very conveniently to get around in town, close to all major public traffic points and sightseeing areas.The cleanliness, the nice atmosphere and especially the friendly and very helpful staff impressed me a lot, as I have so far experienced many different hotels all over the world when travelling on business or for holidays. I can definitely recommend this place !

This is a delightful hotel; and don't let the unpreposessing courtyard put you off. This is a small hotel with lovely rooms, and an incredibly warm, friendly, and competent staff. The location is a short walk to many of the sites and the best shopping. The only drawback, if this is important to you, is the lack of a lobby - there is only the breakfast area. I would DEFINITELY stay here again.

Good location for getting around central Palermo. It is also very near the stop for the airport bus. We walked everywhere using the map provided by the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, some had excellent english, others tried hard to understand our italian!
