First the positive: Wery satisfied to get an upgrade for a business suite at no extra charge! Sadly the good impression did not last! Stayed four nights, but only ONCE our room was made up! Had to contact reception for clean towels and toilet paper! Spent a lot of the day in the room, but when we left, we always hung the tag for Please make up my room outside at the door. After the second day with no visit by the maid we even did make a spesific request for them to make up our room! Became even more disappointed whan we arrived back later in the night and still nothing was done! Cannot quite understand this ignorance as the hotel is supposed to be among the best of Oslo!? Has infact never experienced anything like it, not even in low-budget hotels!

Very nice hotel with an unbeatable location. Very nice breakfast. They should, however, do something with their security routines. When we got our room, the guests from the night before had not yet checked out! We could open an occupied room with our key card! We of course got another room immediately, but the attitude at the reception was that this was a minor problem. It is not, The general cleanliness is good, but one of the glasses in the bathroom was washed, but far from clean! However, all in all a very recommendable hotel.

The cleanliness was ok, but is not nice to find a newspaper behind the bed. Then you are thinking......how good is the cleanliness?? But in total I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. And the breakfast is very, very good.

The hotel was in an excellent position. The hotel had a cental area which was being used for a christmas party. we were given a room next to the band and were unable to sleep. when we complained we were moved but moving at 12.00 at night is not fun. when we complained the next day we were told christmas parties were comon in Norway. (we went in November!!!!!!) The staff were not helpful and we felt like an inconvienience to them. I would try other hotels in the area before returning here.

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was extensive and balanced. The location is very close to the central station.

Arrived at 22.30 h due to delaied airplane on a Monday, no food available at the hotel or around. Ordered a pizza from the Pizza Baronen costed 248 NOK, very expensive! No address on the web page to the hotel, could not inform persons where to meet me. the shower had no hot water, icy cold only!
