The room we were given was overlooking the main lines into the station. If i had jumped out of the window i would have landed on the track. - no exaggeration here. It was extremely hot and there was no air con. (or fan). We needed to have the window open and could hear every word on the station tanoy. We were woken frequently when the trucks went by. I suppose the discounted price paid reflected this, but do not accept a room on this side. On the positive side it was a nice hotel, very convenient for the station and breakfast excellent.

Great location, our room looked out onto the railway tracks and we hardly noticed any noise at all, it was actually quieter than a normal road. Excellent value would use again. Excellent breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff.

No airconditioning, apparently. Therefore, a need to keep the bedroom window open, with much train noise (tracks immediately adjacent) - could even hear the platform announcements! Otherwise, good value, and good service at check-in and departure & in the breakfast room.

Excellent location two minutes walk from the railway station. Free ticket provided for use on the tram and underground railway. Good restaurant but, unfortunately, no restrictions on smokers during the evening.
