Whereas the facilities and the rooms were better than average, the restaurant staff spoke no english and I had some difficulty with my weak french ordering meals.

Family of three for a week, good if you have a car, typical French internet good if you take out a loan, meals hit or miss , one day they served raw bacon, I expect the warming trays was to cook the food, lots of bus traffic.

We arrived around 1:30pm and the receptionist had no record of our internet booking and appeared suspicious. This did not instill much confidence on arrival. We finallly worked out that they would give us the rooms we had booked, but none of them were ready so we had to wait in the bar for about 2/3 hours until ready. The booking explained it would be on a bed and breakfast but on departure some of us who had breakfast had to pay for the luxury- another added suprise.

The location map on the internet site for this hotel showed it in the wrong position, on the other side if town! This caused us a great deal of wasted time at the end of a long days travelling.

While I was staying at the hotel there was building work in progress in the front foyer which was very noisy and generally disruptive. On the night we had dinner in the hotel the waitress was particularly unfriendly.
