The hotel is placed in a fine spot on Rue de's Anglais with a view to the sea. Close by the Negresco hotel (fine architecture). Beds hard and good and the room is fine. We had a room on 6th floor with af nice long balcony (all 6th floor rooms), very usefull back from dinner at night. Only minus is older carpets and furniture. But all in all a very good stay. Be aware that prices for sun chairs on the beaches differs at least 5 euro. Best place right in front of hotel. Theese spots are not part of hotels, but privately owned.

Door of shower could hardly be moved as well as the doors (mirror) of the wall cupboard. Sun shades didn't work either.

The hotel generally was as expected for a four star, however, the two bedrooms we booked were of a very poor standard, with water marks to walls, leaking toilet, and wet carpets around the wardrobe area. In my opion was a poor two star room. On complaining, we were promised another room, but this never happened.

reception area looked unclean mainly due to old/worn carpets throughout hotel. Lack of available tables at breakfast as served in outside/gazebo area (when it rained there was no room at all). No defined bar area for a drink in the evening again a bar is temporarily set up in the gazebo. The room was clean but decorated with dark colours and wood making the room feel very small. Hotel was sourced on internet and advertised with pool and private beach, there was no pool and the beach area was nothing to do with hotel.

One of my favorites. Excellent location, just next to Negresco. Nice old building in art nuveau style. Make sure you get one of the renovated rooms.

Room #525 AND room #524 are definetely BULLSHIT!! The hotel common area are quite nice, of course..., but my room was absolutely NOT a 4* one, maybe a 2*, that certainly does not worth 100Euros per night, I guess... The same applies for the room next to mine, where a colleague of mine stayed. I will not go back there. This is sure!

Fantastically located.Very nice public areas.Magnificent viewws over the Mediterranean.Is becoming an old hotel without the confort today ofered by similar category hotels.

The hotel has a very nice location along the Promenade des anglais, the concierge was helpful and the staff were friendly. But the services offered were not satisfactory. The breakfast was very low quality and expensive (20EUR/person), the room was very small, there was no private beach as mentioned in the website, we had to pay for the beach with a small discount. Overall we were not satisfied with the price/quality ratio.

This was a very nice hotel, perhaps a bit overpriced but it was during the high turist season (july). The location is excellent, right on the thriving and lively beach front blvd. The hotel is spacious and very well accomadated. The food is very expensive, but there are cheaper restaurants very close by. Not recommended for couples or families on a budget.
