Location was fine for mid town Nice and the Acropolis was a ten minute walk down treelined streets. This hotel has a lovely lobby and public areas but the bedroom was rudimentary and could have done with an upgrade. The Wifi access is from Swisscom and ridiculously expensive though that is hardly the hotels fault. That said the price was very competitive for Nice so you gets what you pays for.

Room very good the one I had on top floor good size and excellent balcony, bar facilities poor not much of a bar area and no atmosphere, breakfast room ok although with having a lovely balcony we were able to have breakfast on balcony. Staff are so helpful & location very good

We have stayed at the Vendomme before, and pick this for the location. The only comment to make is at breakfast, we feel that the staff need to keep an eye on replemishing. Breakfast time is untill 10.30 am, on getting down at 10.00 am, there was nothing left at all, and no staff around to ask for assistance in getting more supplies. Other than this very friendly.....

We requested a double when booking but were given a twin on arrival. On the fourth night of a 6 night stay, we were changed to a double room. This seems to be a regular problem with internet bookings. The room was advertised as superior but could hardly be described thus. The first room we received was very small. Superior apparently refers to a recent refurbishment i.e. new bathrooms! The breakfast area was also very small and cramped. Location was perfect - very central.
