Small and dated rooms, pool has clearly not been working for a long time. The only upside is the location near Times Sq and Central Park.

Have stayed in New York 20 times at various boutique hotels. This was a pleasure - speedy and friendly check in, very helpful concierge and front desk. Spacious rooms for all our shopping and two very large and comfortable beds.

I have two comments. 1) The toilet should have the electric fan to clear out the unpleasant smell after toilet using. (seriously) 2) The bed is just a little bit too soft for me.

This hotel suited our needs in terms of convenient location especially if you want to explore on foot. It was also great to have a decent swimming pool to use at the end or beginning of a hectic day.
