Pretty good value,particularly liked the front door man who advised on a late night italian restaurant and rang ahead.over all quite a pleasant,hotel well located,not exorbitant.

the hotel was grubby. The room hadn't been cleaned properly, a grubby carpet and there was loads of dust all along the skirting boards and loads of rubbish in the hall way outside my room whcih didn't get cleared for well over 12 hours. The shower also didn't work well. The hotel staff were clearly busy as it was christmas time but were off hand bordering on rude. My concerns were responded to with little interest suggesting that despite an apparent interest in customer care they weren't in truth that interested.

The Hotel has been renewed but is still very old. the bathroom is minimum and the bath was very deteriorated. I have been in this hotel several times many years ago adn it is exactly the same. I thik the price is a bit high for the quality of the rooms. The sheets were too small for the beds and torn. The extra bed they brought for un adult was horrible. Big luxurious hall and very good location tht is all.

The hotel is very dingy and dark with very old carpets and certainly a let down. For the price paid it is a short change.

Old and basic rooms, no better location. more suitable for men than women. good if you don't plan on spending any time in the hotel

The service was excellent. The staff were friendy, accommodating and reponsive. WE enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again. The single rooms were a bit small but the suites are spacious

Central to most of the attractions, walking distance even.Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Hotel has atmosphere and charactor.Rooms are clean and adequate...but were disapointed at lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. All in all a pleasant experience, and we would go back to this hotel

This hotel was better than expected after reading some reviews I was a bit apprehensive - it was excellent - room spotless hotel lobby fabulous (although drinks a bit pricey but then so was everywhere) staff very accomodating - location excellent very central from Times square, Grand Central station, Empire State Bldg etc subway and bus services were excellent as well - bed very comfortable and new mattress would definitely stay here again. The doorman even arranged for us to travel back to aiport in the hotel taxi for a set price which was good value

Nice lobby, average rooms. Noise isolation sucks. Ok breakfast, but a bit expensive, should be included in price.
