The room was very small, bathroom was tiny. The room had not been properly cleaned when I arrived, there was no duvet on bed until I requested it. I left items in my room on departure and emailed the hotel several times to ask them to ship them to me and I would meet the costs, several emails later and after complaining to Radisson customer service, my items were eventually returned.

The hotel was adequate but no moore than that. The room we were allocated (a petite room) was extremely samll and very draughty. We complained and were allocated a slightly bigger and better room. Overall the hotel was not of the standard I expected from a Radisson hotel.

I did not enjoy this hotel. Very very noisy, I was on the fourth floor and there was a lot of noise from a nightclub etc.

When we arrived the first night we didn't want a very formal meal so we chose to eat in Raffles. It was the worst meal I have ever had in my life and it was not cheap as cafes go. The hotel bar was extremely expensive and although there are lots of options for eating in the hotel it was not a place to sit an enjoy a meal. I have heard that the Alma grill in the hotel is a good restaurant but after paying a fortune for cafe food I wasn't taking any chances on the grill. We also upgraded the room to a junior suite on arrival as the room we were issued was very very small. I couldn't share the bathroom with my partner and there was nowhere to put the toiletries. Also we requested the TV remote on three occassions and it never arrived. Finally the hotel say they are commited to the environment but we got a full set of fresh towels every day even though we asked for them not to be changed.

I had read some bad reviews on this hotel but i think they were misleading. I had a lovely hotel room which was very clean and i really enjoyed my stay there. The hotel is centrally located with only a few minutes walk to Time Square and it was just a few blocks to the Empire State building. The staff were friendly & the atmosphere of the hotel was nice. I would stay there again.

I chose a Radisson Hotel because of my good experiences in the UK,eg Radisson Edwardian, London. This one in New York was a different matter. Although requesting a non smoking room they put us in a dirtry stink pen on the 1st night. They did move us for the remaining nights, but renovations on the next floor made using the room during the day impossible. The poorly stocked hotel bar opened late afternoon and closed midnight prompt.
