Twin beds in NYC...BONUS! New lifts-press your floor number and you are allocated one which goes to floor automatically. Hotel Security people do not allow non-guests into lift area-room key must be shown. Would definitely use hotel again.

Considering we paid $400 per night for the room - the twin room was very, very small. It was also based at the back of the hotel where there was constant noise from what seemed to be an air conditioning unit outside. Do not feel that it was value for money at all. Location was excellent and would stay there again if the price was right!

We stayed at the Milford Plaza Hotel between the 14th-19th November 2007. The location is Excellent and on the door step of Times Square with loads of great restaurants and bars very near by. Will definately stay here again although if you're looking for grand & deluxe accomodation this may not be the place for you.

Generally a good hotel to stay and go. Very good location, near Times Square and lots of amenities, Great security, The staff are very friendly and good. On the downside, rooms are a bit small and internet comes with a price (Wished surfing was free). Still, we had a decent stay.

I was treated very badly by the night reception staff. The hotel had no record of my second booking a few days later, and told me to figure it out myself online. Room not clean, drapes torn from hooks and hanging down, furniture veneer chipping and peeling, curtains wrinkled and dingy, remote didn't work. Worst, interconnecting door to another room where a man yelled and threatened because I asked if he would lower his cell phone talking. Had to call security (very helpful) and change rooms. Morning staff good, but they know night staff is bad and that management will do nothing about it. Absolutely not worth price. Bad experience.

My 5 nights at the Milford Plaza cost me close to $2,000. For a room the size of a postage stamp, peeling paint on the windows and some furniture that appeared to arrived on the Arc, I think that the pricing is way out of line. I was, however, very impressed with the elevator system. Excellent and very little waiting.

Small room, great location. We unfortunately had to be in NY the same weekend as the marathon so the prices were really really high. Our keys stopped working one evening and we waited in the hallway for nearly 2 hours for it to be fixed. I asked for a discount, but was told I couldn't get one because I had prepaid. At $1675 for 4 nights or $17.50 per hour, I think they could have found a way.

No double glazing so street noise is loud, had to run the air con to drown out the street. Lifts slow and small they can get quite crowded. Allow plenty of time to check out as the queues can be quite long. Dated decor, no tea and coffee facilities in the room, house keeping can be slow. None the less it was a place to sleep which was well located for the theatres and Times square.

The staff at this hotel could not have been any more helpful and friendly. The rooms are very average but had every thing we needed. The location, just off Times square was ideal for our needs of sight seeing and shopping.

I would not hesistate to stay here again if i travel to New York. The location was excellent. The only disappointment was the size of the double room but as we only slept in the room it was fine.

The hotel is very old & needs refurbished. TV's should allow free TV channels. SOME of the staff at reception have NO manners & should never be in a job that deals directly with the public. eg, no eye contact, no please & thank you, no smile, no personality!

The reception staff were unfriendly and we had to insist that we kept the same room for 5 nights even though we had extended our stay - our air conditioning did broke down twice and hair dryer did not work either. Upon exiting the hotel we had no help with our bags and had to drag them down a flight of stairs as no bell boys were there to help us - I would not stay there again.

Overall good value. A great location - especially the access to the subway station across the road, which made the train journey from the airport easy.
