There was a lot of noise and roaring and shout going on at all hours. Nothing was done about it when I complained

This hotel is the worst hotel that we have ever set foot in!!!!!! The only good thing about it was the location of the place and still then i would not stay there again!!!!!! The young lady at the front counter was very good and helped us when we wanted to look at other rooms. again this and the location are the only 2 good things about this place. Do your self a favour and dont waste your money. stay up the road for an extra $50.00 per night.

Granted, perhaps $250 means nothing to some people, but to me, that is a decent price to pay for a night in a hotel- I was shocked to see the room- no window, no cup, nothing. THe bath wasn't working. The elevator was broken. I had a sense of claustrophobia. It ruined my mood. I almost left. THey had no idea of the Recommended Hotel program- needless to say, I got no discount.

My room, about the size of a large closet, was about half way through a renovation - plaster dust everywhere, masking tape all over the place, and I had to ASK for a washcloth and a cup. The air conditioner was in the Bathroom!! behind the door. Not my best hotel experience.

Centrally located hotel but it is very shabby and the electrical wiring in the room looked dangerous! Rooms are absolutely tiny Towels changed every day but they were small and very thin. The lady who owns/manages the hotel is most unpleasant - she changed the mattress in our room for no reason, to a smaller mattress which did not fit the base of the bed! She then denied that she had done this and refused to change the mattress! The staff (who the manager treats dreadfully) try their best and are most helpful and pleasant.

We lives in Hong Kong. First time to NY Manhattan for leisure time. Quite nervous about the choice of accomodation, as prices always high and facilities varies a lot betweens. Finally we decided to sacrifice the facilities and service to opt for good location & price. It did fit the initial expection. We were quite disappointed that the cleanliness is a bit down standard as both of us felt some biting in the days of staying, room service cleaning is just far from satisfaction. Also this site is quite a noisy place to stay indeed. The traffic nuisance can make one sick and sleepless...

My first room was poor - very small, broken shower, no hot water from sink. After making a complaint, the next day I was given a very good room - more of a suite - which was fine. For some reason, any room with windows had them covered with some kind of film which meant you couldn't get any natural light - bizarre! The general level of cleanliness was poor though - my colleague had cockroaches in his room! Also, the reception onthe TVs was not good on several channels - not v important for me, but I guess it would be for others.

We booked really late and didn't have much to choose from. I took a risk (based on the reviews for this hotel that are floating around the net) and booked at the Manhattan Broadway. My travel companions were ready to kill me, but when we arrived we discovered that we had been upgraded to a suite (at no extra charge). It was a great place to come back to and rest between our full days out on the town (there's so much to do in NY, who would want to spend time in their room anyway). We left our belongings there including our passports, iPods, laptops, etc and felt secure that they would be there when we returned. I'd recommended to anyone who wants to be close to Times Square but wants to pay for dinners and activities, rather than HUGE hotel bills.

The room that i stayed in was very small. But for one or two nights i guess its ok, my personal preference is room with big windows. The carpet was untidy. The bathroom was exceptionally clean but they dont give shampoos, only a small soap, no moisturisers and no conditioners. No provision for asian travellers like me who love to have a hot cup of tea early morning. I wish they had some, make your own tea/coffee thing in the room.
