we were delighted with the hotel except we had booked 2 rooms , one room for the kids and one room for the 2 adults, we were given a lower grade room and it was prices 300 more than the other room. this was not highlighted till we said it was the same as the other room? they wanted 25 dollors more a day for a cot for a 5 month old baby...! 10 dollers a day wifi

The windows do nothing to keep out noise from the surrounding streets - it was hard to sleep. perhaps better soundproofing, or at least a white noise machine, would be useful.

A lovely hotel in a good position not far from subway and Central Park. Room was small yet we were aware of this on the website as it gave the dimensionals, yet, it was all we could afford as it's very pricey everywhere in New York for Christmas and New Years! The bar is cool and is a very happening place for hotel guests and locals.

The hotel room was noisy at night, presumably the heating system, with a banging noise starting at bout 4am. With the head end of the bed right up against the radiator this disturbed our sleep. I did raise this with a lady at reception on checking out but she said that as I had already paid my bill no refund was possible.

Very nice hotel, good service, will go back there next time I'm in NY. We had initially a 2 double bed room which had LOTS of space, the next night we had a 1 queen bed and the room and bathroom were incredibly small but hey, it was ok.

They took my credit card as security. I paid cash and they still debited my credit card . Lost out on exchange rates and transaction fees. Room was too small . The lobby facilities like bar were good . Lighting was very poor in the corridors . Will not stay there again. Please pass this on to the hotel management

Fantastic location. Very funky hotel. Fabulous food. So cool it doesn't even have the name of the hotel displayed out the front. Room TINY, however, I have been informed by others that most New York hotel rooms are small. Less than 1m from bed to wall on all sides and a minute bathroom. Would stay again because we spent very little time in the room anyway. Have a cocktail in the eclectic courtyard or a delicious meal in the restaurant!!!!

Very good and different designer hotel. Very well run. Enjoyed the stay and the cafeteria provides good food at reasonable prices. The bar is busy and trendy.

We were somewhat disappointed that we had to take smoking rooms as opposed to non-smoking and, while the rooms were very clean, they had a cigarette odour. THe rooms are quite small, probably more suited to the individual traveller but use the space very well. The facilities and service were excellent but the air conditioning was so loud in each of our rooms we had to turn it off each night. Location was great, excellent staff, an overall very good value,

way too expensive this hotel. Decoration of lobby and bar are spectacular but the rooms are ridiculous small. You can barely turn around. Big problem for tall or large people. -> here you pay definitely the decoration. Nice to hang around in one of the bars/restaurant, but there are better hotels in the big apple at a better price.
