Basic hotel. But for the price combined with the location I wouldnt expect much more. Clean and tidy, room average size for NYC, but who stays in their room all day on hols? The only reason we might not stay here the next time would be the fact that its TOO close to everything and we'd like to try staying near SOHO or the Village the next time!

had major reservations having read previous reviews on this hotel but found it to be very good! adequate sized room, maid service daily, prompt efficient front desk, unbeatable location for mid-town manhattan. Excellent value for money, it's a budget hotel so what you get is a bit basic but what more do you need? Perfect base for exploring NYC. Only reason I might not stay here again is that we found it to be a little too close to the action!! Highly recommend this hotel!

Staying there second time. Excellent location, just in the Centre. One may regard it a bit noisy at night time. Personnel is helpful. Room's facilities are old, heating system in my room did not work properly.

This hotel is neseled in the heart of activity in New York, It is walking distance from Time Square, 5th Ave, Madison street, empire state building. The rooms are small but all rooms in New York are small. There is a small breakfast area cotinental syle but you have to pay. For New York the area the price I woul recommend and stay again.

Not enough hot water. Room smelled musky. At the price I paid per night, this was a very bad deal. I also requested ahead of time to have to twins instead of a double bed. This was available when I checked in but at a 25 dollar per night increase. What a rip off at the price I was paying for rent. I therefore stayed with the double. The Bathrooms were very small and the toilet never operated properly. Towel racks were within the bath enclosure which was not a standard bathtub size, but half the size. I requested a non-smoking room and received a smoking room instead. I would not really recommend this hotel except for a one or two night stay. I stayed over a week.

We booked for 7 Nights and the initial room we were given was the worst we had ever stayed in. We took photographs of the dirt and stains and collected a bag full of rubbish from under the bed. When presented with the evidence the manager upgraded us to a 'King' suite which was a lot better but for what we paid we should never of had to complain in the first place. The location was superb but if this was indicative of 'Best Western' standards then they should re-brand as 'Best Avoided'!!
