The hotel is a nice place to stay. I stayed at a one bedroom unit that has facilities like microwave, refrigerator and stove. The kitchen has a nice space but the microwave could be traded for a better one. The room were very big with a separate area with a sofabed. The location is so,so. It is very close to the United Nations but a bit far from the closest subway station, it is about 3 avenues walk, which are a good walk as avenues in NY are fairly big. I would rather have stayed on a more central location.

The hotel location was great -- within walking distance of shopping and theatre. The bed was old and rather uncomfortable (for two), and the kitchenette floor tile was cracked and pieces were missing. The windows were thin, and the heating was antique. On the other hand, it was an old hotel in a great location, and overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The 1 bedroom suite I was given was on the 2nd floor and smelt musty. The bathroom, which was small but adequate, had black mould above the door and shower. The kitchen was not separate from the living area. The gap between the cupboard and the fridge was unclean - food remains and dirt were visible. This was the same under the cupboards. There was no coffee machine in the room. The staff were friendly with a good knowledge of the local facilities.

A very nice and clean room with a confortable sofa and a separate kitchenet from the room. The staff from the hotel is extremely palite. Very nice location, near ONU and 10 minutes walking from Grand Central.

A charge of $50.00 was made to my credit card - despite having no extras on my room/account. I am currently seeking clarification and/or refund. Room was spacious, but needed a new carpet! The restaurant at the top floor was quite expensive.

Good quality hotel for the price. Location is a bit out of the action and from subway but we found walking to Times Square was no problem.

The hotel staff is very pleasant and the room was very clean and well-maintained. The bed was on the small side and the bathroom was rather small but, all in all, our stay was very good. It was nice to have the full-sized refrigerator and the small kitchen. The neighborhood is very nice but the nearest subway stop is several blocks away.

I had a large studio with good kitchen facilities. The only practical problem I found was that in the Annex the internet connection is not wifi but cable and didn't work in my room. Otherwise I would stay there again if I wanted to be in midtown Manhattan (east).

We booked a suite and paid between 300-400 a night so were expecting a nice place. The first room we were shown was a smoking room on the first floor - not nice. We asked for better and were upgraded to a real suite on the 16th floor which was better. Nice facility, nice service and great location for UN business - but make sure you get what you pay for.

Very good and comfortable suite hotel, which will be refurbished next year. Good location in the residential district but able to walk to Times Square etc.
