very good location. looked better on internet than it actually was. Room was dark and could do with a lick of paint. kitchenette was not cleaned during our stay. Not much interaction from the staff. Hotel bar nice and intimate and very welcoming, bar assistant very friendly.

The location was great, within walking distance of lots of shopping and shows. The room was very large, with 2 bedrooms, and even a kitchenette with stove and roomy refrigerator. It was quiet for a good night's sleep. The maid and bellman were very helpful. All in all, a great place to stay in the city at a decent price compared to other hotels.

Excellent location in Midtown Manhattan. Building has a kind of shabby charm, although there is a programme of updating going on. Very friendly staff.

Cleaners left my door wide open for evrbody to walk in. Cleaners ate lunch in my room, - left crisps and half-eaten banana on my table.

Concidering the central location, the price is acceptable. The standard of the room, however (2. floor) was not good; The wallpaper is old and falling off, especially in the bathroom. The air condition, which is very noisy (we had to use it, because of hot weather!), comes from a big box placed in the middle and lower part of the window, blocking the daylight and the view. One lamp didn't work. Generally, maybe partly because of the old wall to wall carpet, the room did not smell good!

Good location! Easy access to shopping areas and sights. Rooms were clean and nice compared to some other same level New York hotels I have stayed in. Only minus was thin walls and noisy neighbours.

Rooms were large and clean with very handy 'kitchenette'. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great little hotel in a good location near Grand Central station, the Empire State and Crystler buildings. Will definitely stay there on my next visit to New York.

If we visit New York again this hotel would be an ideal choice. Location is perfect especially for mid town Manhattan most tourist locations all are within easy walking distance.
