Arriving by car is highly impractical, which was not indicated in write-up: very difficult to unload luggage, it is virtually impossible to drive down the street afterwards, the parking lot is four blocks away and expensive (E25 per day). We were four flights up, without elevator (not indicated in write-up). The brother considerably more helpful and hospitable than the sister - however, aid and support were minimal. We informed at start that we would stay one day less, but they refused to consider discount a day (blaming venere.com). Very interesting neighborhood, however.

Property owners were mostly disinterested. English knowledge - not good but it's possible to understand what they try to say. Payment only in cash! The room we had was clean. We liked it wery much. 1st day there wasn't wc paper in toilet. But ok, considering location -> 15 min walk from Napoli Centrale and not long away form Centre Storico. Street is wery narrow, motorcicles give signals all the time. In the evening it's noisy outside. One day we couldn't fall asleep as locals decided to have discoteq outside. Breakfast -> we had it in cafe located near the property 7.00-11.00. Quality of breakfast depends on cafes' personal. 1 cup of coffee and 1 cruassant is offered. For woman it's ok, but for men - not at all. I could advise this property to people who likes cleaness, but aren't interested in communication to owners and who can sleep when it's noisy. For us it was ok as we were very tired all the days we came to our room and the main thing for us was to have the bed and clean room. By the way - it was also mini-bar in the room. :)

91 steps must be climbed up before reaching the room; this is not indicated in the documentation and is unfair. This BB should not be recommanded to people having difficulties for walking and avoided by those who don't enjoy physical efforts. The breakfast is helped outside, is very poor and delivered by unpleasant waiters. Due to bad weather we stayed only four nights, however we have been charged five nights as scheduled.

Although the B&B is centrally positioned in the old part of the city it was quite a step to the train and bus stations and more than 1 train change to get to the sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum.Naples itself is not a place I could ever recommend or wish to vist again.To go to the archaeological sites that the area is famous for I would recommend staying in Sorrento.Much cleaner,friendlier etc and the train line goes straight to the 2 main tourist sites from there. The B&B is also up on the 3rd floor which entailed climbing up and down 90 odd steep steps every time.Certainly not suitable for the elderly or even the slightly unfit person or anyone with a very heavy suitcase!. Breakfast(coffee and a croissant)was in a cafe a few blocks away so there was no popping back to your room between leaving in the morning and returning for bed in the evening.In it's favour the room was clean,airy and spacious with a comfortable bed and a good shower.We had been told that having 2 x single beds would be no problem but were given 1 x double bed.As it was a large bed we managed not to disturb each other!.

We enjoyed our journey in Naples very much. The soggiorno Paradiso is located in the historical center of Naples and it is wondeful!!!
