I am an elderly woman and stayed by myself at the Potenza Hotel on my way from Ischia to airport Napoli. Even though it is very near the railway station I felt very safe. The room was spacious and very quiet. Bathroom clean with a lot of towels. I did not take breakfast as I was leaving before 07.a.m.

Good hotel. Right on the square with the train station (but not close to tracks). Bathroom in room. Good place to eat downstairs. Breakfast area was right outside our room though. Make sure when you reserve to ask for a room away from this area. It is OK if you are an early riser, but if you plan to sleep in it is hard b/c of those eating outside your door.

This is an excellent hotel to stay at. Despite its proximity to the station, it is so quiet and I was surprised by how luxurious it was. I was extremely comfortable. There were other single women in the hotel and it is to be recommended to single travellers as we felt safe here.

A great stay with a few hitches. They are constructing a new bus terminal in front of the hotel so the area is a mess. The hotel is lovely, but they had hot water problems while we there and showers were often cold. Upon arrival, we asked about ferries to Capri and were told we could only go by restaurant launch. Since I had been there before, I knew that was not the case. Things did improve. Carmine came on at 3 and was a god send for our entire stay. He helped us with transportation and restaurants. A gem of an employee!!! Location is great, near both train stations and the major bus lines. I would go back just for Carmine.

i was really pleased with this hotel. it was recently renovated, so it is clean and nicely furnished. the location is only a few blocks from the napoli centrale train station. the neighborhood is very busy and chaotic, that's typical of naples. you need to be careful late at night, but i didn't have any problems. the hotel was also located near the port of napoli beverello where you can reach the islands of ischia, procida, & capri. the staff was friendly and courteous. i would definately lodge at this hotel again.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel was good value for money and the food was fantastic. We were offered 10% discount as we stayed in the hotel. My only one complaint would be the noise levels. The walls were very thin and we could clearly here our neighbours. The bonus was that our room was not onto the main square so the noise outside the hotel was minimal. Overall, not a bad place to stay and good location being so central for stations etc.
