I did not remember that the information on your web sight mentioned that we would have to climb 5 floors (71 steps) to the B&B. I think this information is quite important. The breakfast was totally self serve and was very minimal. Perhaps, this is usual in Italy, but not what we expected. Also, our arrival was quite confused since the owner was out of town and we had to contact a non-English speaking friend to let us in and show us around. We hadn't been able to contact him until after we had been dropped off in the tiny square in the middle of Naples. Once he got there, he was very nice, but we were a little uneasy about the location and the outside appearance of the building. We did meet several guests and had some pleasant conversations with them. But after our 2 experiences with B&B's we will probably stick to hotels in the future.

This review concerns b&b Cerasiello, the new B&B run by Raffaele and Silvana. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, right near the top of via Duomo so walking anywhere in the city was easy and quick. Rooms clean, kitchen well stocked for breakfasts (the homemade jams inspired us to make our own) and sitting on the terrace after a day in the hustle and bustle of Naples was very relaxing.

Comment does not relate to Dimora dei Giganti but to another (new) B&B called Cerasiello operated by the same young couple (Rafaelle & Silvia). D dei G was closed for repair and maintenance but it did not show up on Venere website upon reservation. No employees available but owners ready to help at all time. It is a full self-service B&B with a delightful roof terrace. A few technical problems with the main electrical switch and water pressure (normal for a new premise...) . Overall a very good address in a typical popular neighbourood.

The B&B was well situated to visit the old center. Once you are in the appartment, you'll find the quietness and peaceful after walking in the very lively streets of Naples. The welcoming of the owner was very kind and helpful with very good advises on what to visit in Naples. The decoration of the appartment is made with a lot of taste (does correspond exactly on the photos put in the web site).

From Shannette Budhai - USA
The proprietors were so warm and welcoming and were willing to help us find our way around, make suggestions for places to visit, and were available to help us call the airport when our suitcases got lost. Their help was invaluable. For travelers, I would suggest you bring the names of the propreitors along with you because that is what is listed outside under the doorbell, not the name of the B&B. Also, the number of the building was a little higher than expected so we walked by it at first. Other than that, all is well.
