no tea making facilities. no face flannel. too many smokers (outside) leeches to the inside we were accosted by a person , whom we thought was affiliated to the taxis. wrong, he took us to the hotel on foot and whipped a 20 euro note out of my hands. the taxi would have cost less than 5 euros

I wanted a hotel convenient to transportation, and the Hotel Cavour suited me very well. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed; the breakfast was excellent; noise was not a problem, even in a lower floor room with windows above the street. Very good value for the price.

We stayed for 7 nights in Cavour. The location is excellent near the trainstation and city centre. The room was clean, spacious and not noisy. We were lucky that we also had a big roofterrace with privacy and a good view on the city and Vesuvius. There is a little fridge in the room for a cold wine. Breakfast is reasonable. Napels, Pompei, Amalfi are great. The neighbourhood was not as bad as we expected after reading other reviews. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel!

Air conditioning that didn't work, backwash of water through the bathroom floor every time a tap was turned on or toilet flushed, both which recieved the comment of OK when reported. Was then charged 5 euros more than the price too park in a public car park, because we went through the hotel as advised.

I found the hotel to be safe, clean, quiet, and well managed. The staff were all unfailingly courteous. The location in the Piazza Cavour is very convenient to the Metro, the train station and public busses. It represents good value for the money.

Morning reception terrible ...apart from manager . The reception desk not intrested in providing tourist information. For its age its OK .
