the AC virtually did not work, the wifi did not reach my room. the reception staff (lady at night on arrival) was pretty unwelcoming. I thought the hotel looked run down.

Here are the snags: be sure to request a non-smoking room if you don't smoke. The location was easy to get to but its a busy road. The hotel restuarant is poor. An excellent Resturant was recommeded which is beautiful, delicious food and wonderful service--Le Due Palme. Its worth a visit and writing home about. One of the reasons I selected this hotel was for the pool; well in July 2006 it was filled with green water! Which indicates poor maintenance. Of our 3 days there we got in on the last day. This was a big disappointment. The staff however was very responsive and professional. YOU MUST HAVE A CAR. The train into town was close but the area was questionable. I did go into town on train and returned that night via cab. Breakfast was abundant, but lacked variety day to day. There is another Best Western that's closer to Naples Center; check that one out before staying here.

Very clean, well serviced hotel, but not in a central location, chose this hotel to be close to the airport, but the taxi fare from the hotel to airport cost €40.

air conditioning only counts if they TURN IT ON! They turn off the air conditioning at night! I went to bed warm and woke up in a sweat. I called the operator who said air conditioning off at night I asked if he could cool down and he turned it on for a short while. I had tried opening the patio door and letting in the air but it was hot out and the noise from the street went on all night! Never again!

Hotel's website advertised Sauna but it is in fact used as a storage room for deck chairs! Very disappointing. The pool had early closing hours which was not convenient for getting back after sightseeing. Information provided in the room was either out of date or misleading e.g. Laundry service is not available every day and is not returned by next day (we had to ask for this specifically as a rush service).

Very good for the price. As I speak Italian it was quite easy for me to communicate. Although my Wife spoke English only, she had to get me to speak Italian to translate. It was on the outskirts of Naples and we had to walk a far distance. The pool was very nice to enjoy after a long car trip. The restaurant food was very good.

I liked this hotel, basically, but it was much farther out of town than I had expected it to be. Somehow, it's location was not clear on the website. Therefore, there was no place to eat dinner but at the hotel unless you had a car or wanted to pay a taxi or take a bus into town. The food was good, however. What I found the strangest: They have computer points you can use but you need a telephone card to use it. They didn't, however, sell the cards! You had to get one at a tabaccaio and the closest one was a ten minute walk away! They should look into selling the cards. One of the front desk workers was quite helpful - Maria - always with a smile and information. I was always happy to see her there. The men were less so. Breakfast was REally nice! Not just the usual bread and jam. There were protein choices and cereal and milk. I understand the hotel is close to the American Naval Base - so anyone wanting a place near that would be pleased with the hotel.

I found the hotel reception personnel unfriendly and a lack of willingness to assist. Breakfast I would rate fair to poor. Coffee was terrible. There were at least two waiters at all times in the dining area during breakfast but mostly stood around talking with one another rather than waiting on hotel guest. Would I stay there again? Doubtful.

The area of where the hotel was situated was not so good. The price was absolutely out of compliance with the quality of the room. The only aspcet of this hotel that I trully enjoyed was the service provided at the restaurant by the two night waiters ( Luigi and Renato) as well as the chef. The food was excellent.
