When we first arrived in Naples and knowing our B&B was walking distance from the train station I really didn't want to stay in Naples. The area in and around the B&B was dirty and smelled terrible. My husband left me at the train station and went to check out the B&B. He assured me it was in a better area. I decided since he felt it was ok we would stay. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was down the hall and also very clean. Paola was very nice and gave us maps and directions to places of interest. The first night my husband went to shower and when he was soaped up and went to rinse all he got was very cold water. I decided to shower the next morning. I had the same problem as there wasn't any hot or warm water. We mentioned the cold shower problem and Paola tried to convince us there wasn't a problem and suggested we were not turning the faucet properly. Interesting though, there was a repairman there the day we left fixing something and we think it was the water heater. Our breakfast was not very good. Stale crossaints, those little packaged toasts with some jam,tasteless cookies, juice, coffee and hot milk. The restaurant next door to the B&B was not good. Minestrone soup made with canned veggies? YUK. Fortunately there was another restaurant at the corner, named Iris that had very good food at a resonable price. The area around the B&B was scary and we didn't stay out at night. I have to admit the accordian music from the street was very nice to go to sleep to. I didn't have to use the earplugs that were provided.

Very nice B&B, close to the public transportation (metro, railway station, bus). The rooms are very clean and quiet. Paola is a nice hostess. The trattoria just at the left side of the entrance to the B&B building (trattoria del Peppino) looks not so nice, but the food is quite good and the prices competitive. The small grossery store in front of the B&B building can prepare for you delicious sandwiches and the owner explained to us that this shop was opened by his grandfather 100 years ago. The only negative point was the surroundings which did not look so safe so we always had to be very careful to our bags.

Very pleasand stay. Very quiet except street noise which is normal in Napoli. Very wel located and very clean room with wide and comfortable bed, which is important after a long journey. I recommand vively this acomodation which has been one of the best i ever had. Frederic.

Naples is definitely not the place to be.. Luckily this B&B is very friendly and beautiful. And very well located around the corner of the central station. This gave us the opportunity to visit very easily the Vesuvius,Herculaenium, Pompeii,the Phlegean fields, the archeological museum.. And that was a great experience for me and my ten year old son, for whom we made this journey. In the evening we watched our dvds (we brought them with us) in the living room. We would recommend this B&B very much!

What a wonderful B&B! Why? Location, cleanliness, room size, friendliness owners, and price/quality! First of all, the location is very convenient. Take bus ANM (eur 3) or S3 (eur 1) from the airport arrival area. After roughly 20 minutes, get off on Piazza Garibaldi. Buses, trains, and car rental agencies are here, it's "Central Naples", and it's a 1 minute walk to the B&B. Sisters Monica and Paola gave us very warm welcomes. The room (there are 2) was large and clean, as was the bathroom (shaed by the 2 rooms). The breakfast served in the living room. A 4 dat trip to Naples allowed us to do the following during the day easily: Day 1: (arrived early at 09:00 am) see Naples. Dining areas are better away from a short walk or bus ride from the hotel. Note: bus is convenient as it's cheap, close by, runs frequently, and runs till late. Day 2: see the island of Ischia (45 minute boat ride) Day 3: see the Amalfi coast (rent a car and see Positano, Amalfi, Ravello(!), and Salerno, and we even drove back via Avellino. Avis has parking or drop off for your car in paid garage, so no need to worry about the car getting stolen (Naples is reputed for it). Day 4: Take a train and visit Pompeii early to avoid crowds, back in time to cath a 14:30 hrs plane.

The b&b is excellent: spacious, clean, kind staff, good relatioship price/quality... unfortunatelly is located on a run-down area of Naples next to Garibaldi station.

Our stay in Naples was very pleasant, thanks to Monica and her family's warm welcome. They were very available and provided us with useful information for the visit of numerous places of interest. The rooms are spacious, clean and tidy and tastefully decorated. There is free internet access. The B&B was near the central station, which is very convenient for day trips outside Naples, and within walking distance from the city centre. Notre voyage à Naples était vraiment très agréable, entre autre grâce à l'accueil très chaleureux de Monica et de sa famille. Très disponibles, elles nous ont fourni des renseignements pertinents pour la visite de nombreux sites. Les chambres sont spatieuses,propres, très bien tenues, et décorées avec goût. L'accès à internet est gratuit. Le B&B est à proximité de la gare centrale (très pratique pour les excursions en dehors de la ville) et peu distant à pied du centre ville.
