The quietness of the room was conditioned on the fact the hotel is on a bucy street. If the windows were closed it was very quiet - good insulation. The only solution would be for the hotel to install some sort of an air handler which would be quite costly. Noise from the inside of the hotel was very limited to not at all.

Two inconveniences for us: pillows are made from feather (mismatch for people with allergy) and there was smell of cigarettes in the room.

Our Toilet did not flush, the bathtub was scratched and dirty and black grout in corners of tube. Dirt spots on floor, uncomfortable beds. The faucets in the bathroom mad loud noises.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The room was extra clean (especially the all white tile bathroom). The reception was excellent and the help was very competent. The breakfast was very good and the breakfast area was non-smoking - a real plus. The rate was very good and the location was only a couple blocks from the pedestrian zone. The only negative at all was the strip club across the street and up the block about 50 meters. That having been said, if you don't like it - don't go in. We could completely avoid it by going the other direction on the street and it was not a problem for us.
