Very expensive for what it offers, although in a good location. Not really geared up for international travellers, despite location (e.g. tv set in room receives only Russian channels). Rooms are a little tired and would benefit from renovation. But clean and staff friendly and helpful. When you just want a room before you catch an early flight it's fine

First of all, I had to wait for approximately 1 1/2 hours for their courtesy van that comes every 1/2 hour, I had to phone the hotel twice. Then, I get to a less than friendly, somewhat cold front desk staff. The room was very cold with no way to adjust the heat even after asking the front desk about it. I ran out of hot water after about a 2 minute shower both on the evening of arrival and the shower the next morning. The biggest complaint however was the rudeness I received over the phone while attempting to confirm my reservation, which I finally had to fax them a copy of my recpt. from your firm confirming that they had received payment. Then I find out that a friend of mine who stayed there the week before payed approximately $50.00 less than I paid, (he also had a better room and we both booked our rooms online. If anything, I deserve at least 1/2 of my $198.00 spent reimbursed to me. It was absolutely one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. John Turner

Please warn clients not to take a taxi from the airport, it is just around the corner (5 mins walk) and the taxi drivers are trying to charge US$37 for that fare!!!

There are only 2 hotels close to airport for one night staying between flights-Novotel and Sheremetyevo-2. Novotel is more expensive and if you need just short stop this hotel (Sheremetyevo-2 Hotel Moscow) is enough.

Do not expect luxury! What you get is a large, older facility that is basically clean. Location is great for travelers at Moscow's international terminal 2-which shares the same name as the hotel. Security is good as you have to pass a security attendant and security turnstile to get the the elevators. Elevators on left drop down a couple of inches when you get on, while elevators on the left are newer and operate normally.

The location of the hotel was great. It is within walking distance of SVO. The staff was courteous and efficent. It is a typical Russian Hotel. Very basic to say the least. The beds were not comfortable for American sized men and women. The towels were not soft. The rooms do not have central climate control within the room, so it was a bit stuffy. The showers are not up to American standards, but they got you wet enough to get clean.

I made the reservation for a overnight stay to catch a connecting flight the next morning, the service was fair, and that was all due to the people did not speak much English. For an international location and with travelers coming from all over the world, I would think the staff would speak more English or at least better than a 2 on a scale 1 to 5. Last but not least, the beds are hard as a rocks..But you get what you pay for..

Even renovated rooms look awful. Bathroom looks like it was not renovated at all, I did not feel confortable even to step inside, it is really horoble. It took us about half an hour to check in=very slow service. Breakfast was with very limited choice, service is below any possible standards. The only good thing is location=near terminal
