The hotel is a beautiful hotel with an amazing dining room that everyone should see at least once in his or her life. However, the service of the hotel is quite bad. I have a feeling that it is government owned and thus the reason for the bad attitudes. They almost behave like they are doing us favor. I asked the bellhop where the pool was and he coldly answered that he didn't know and didn't seem to want to know either. The only good thing that I can say about the hotel is that the piano player during lunch one day was awesome. Thank you, sir. However, I don't think that I will stay at this hotel again, especially since the National is right around the corner.

The location of Metropol Hotel is excellent and within walking distance of the Kremlin, museums, shops and restaurants. The concierge's service was excellent but in the bar lounge it was average at best.
