Overall not a recommendation in that hotel category. I am used to stay in 4 - 5 stars hotels and even in Milan you have better opportunities (e.g. Le Meridien, Westin Palace) Very noisy rooms. Rooms direct above outside restaurant. Often they have corporate events with extreme loud live music or Djs. Old TV Flat Screen. The TV flat screens are old ones, offering a very poor quality (e.g. scaling 4:3 to 16:9) Complicated internet access. Internet access is available but you have to optain an User id and password from an other company at extra charge. At the end I used my UMTS wireless Only outside parking direct under trees. Car very dirty and even more a dead small birddy was laying on the roof. Staff especially at the reception unpolite and sniffy with respect to weekend customers (weekend rates). A lot of stairs to reach the elevator and a revolving door at the entrance - not recommended for wheelchairs or a baby buggy. Only one small elevator totally occupied in the morning at rush our and slowly moving. Room mates are cleaning the rooms very late (around 5 PM). No taxis available direct in front of the hotel. You have to wait (approx 5 - 10 min.) Accounting errors They made accounting errors (charging the credit card)

Beautiful hotel in terms of the bars, restaurant and garden with a very shi-shi crowd about every night. Room service was impossible to acheive as no ever answered the telephone - whilst some of the staff where helpful and responsive, the general vibe was 'everything is too much trouble' but as I understand, that's a very Milanese attitude... Having stayed in a variety of 4 and 5 star hotels around the world, I was mistified at what we were paying £170 per night without breakfast... my 'deluxe' single had the smallest bed in the world and left little room to swing a cat. All in all, I would return for drinks in the garden during summer because it is a stunning location but value for money, it ain't.

Very comfortable hotel conveniently located 15 mins walk from the Centro Storico. Big rooms (should be for the price !). Breakfast buffet is good but extortionate at Eur36 pp extra.
