This hoel is as described. I would definately stay there again. The rooms are ok in size, I am sure there are horels that have larger rooms but if you are in Milan you should be spending a minimum of time in your room. Although it seems far from the center of Milan on the maps the train station is very close (2mins walk). The trains seem to run every 5 or so minutes and take less than 10 minutes to Milan and are cheap. All in all with the cost of hotels in Milan this is great value.

The hotel is nice from the inside, but when we arrived there. The police was on the street and a car with broken window shields was standing right outside. We asked someone at the reception if this is a safe area and he said: ""Depends"" There was basically everywhere grafitti outside. Not a nice area to stay!!

The Hotel was so nice. Thank you very much. Especially,I was surprised that the breakfast is solid! The only thing I can advice you that is,I didn't understand the hotel is left side or right side from the station. Only that. Anyway,it was very comfortable.

we were eating in a fish restaurant near valganna,about 5 min per feet,the quality and the price were very o.k. the location of the hotel is in a quiet part of milan but very close to bus and train station to get quick in the center of milan. the prices of drunks in the hotel are o.k.but the only thing i missed was a pricelist at the hotel bar an the minibar. i can reccomand this hotel for all travellers

The proximity to Bovisa train station was excellent. You cannot walk to downtown but only 10 minutes away by train. It is a great place to stay if visiting the university. There were at least 3 English TV channels, CNN, FOX, BBC and sports. The bathroom was very nice and the staff was helpful. Very good price.

The location was the only bad thing about this hotel. This was a nice hotel located in the middle of a ghetto in a suburb miles from the centre of Milan! There are no nices restraunts, shops or land marks anywhere near it. Not tourist friendly at all!!

We enjoyed our stay at Valganna. The rooms were very nice, the bathroom was excellent, breakfast was great and the hotel is right next to a train station that took us everywhere we needed to go. The staff was very helpful. The only word of caution I would provide is that the hotel is not walking distance to the center of town and major sights and there are not restaurants/gelato available for a late evening stroll. We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the rail line and we were not disappointed.
