We found this to be a very good hotel, but the breakfast was good but a bit expensive (some visitors went to other local hotels for breakfast which were cheaper) and we found the evening meal to be mediocre/poor for the price, but the service was excellent. We assume that others found the same as there were few people present for evening meals.

mix up with booking had paid for two rooms they said i had only one room booked even though i had a confirmation of payment for two, had to argue quite strenuously before they would phone hotelclub.

I was geeted by a member of reception staff who should be trained in the concept of customer care - clearly she didn't really care how happy I was.

The hotel was full and it is looks like they don't have the capacity to give the appropriate services at this situation - 40 minutes waiting for breakfast, no towels in the sweeming pool are few examples. On our last day there was a fire in one of the rooms. My children were in the room at that time and could not hear the announcment.

We had a newly renovated room and found it quite comfortable. Nice property conveniently located. The elevator was broken during our visit which made coming and going a little slow. The sound proofing between the rooms and non-existant and the noise from the corridors was awful.

Excellent location,and a lobby that can easily take the guest back to an era of decadence.The rooms are spacious and very comfortable,finishing touches provide guests with that home from home feeling that is often forgotten by others.The hotel is situated right on the beach which is beautiful,seeing is believeing!.

This hotel is away from all the action of Miami--but if you just want to lay by the pool and swim in the ocean, it is great. Rooms don't have refrigerators and you are forced to use the valet parking at $16/day + tip (but that's Miami). The boardwalk makes it easy to visit nearby hotels or just get some exercise walking in the morning. Staff is very accommodating
