from the description on the net it seem like a high class hotel, but its more like a Uk's bed and breakfast. well when i paid for a ocean front room i thought i get to see the ocean, but all i seen is trees and people on the street. staff are not friendly and not good at communicating information. the good thing about teh room was the many tv channels to choose from and the bed was comfortable. breakfast was not very pleasing. i will not come back to the hotel again.

Although Avalon, was of a basic standard double room. The decor left much to be desired, e.g. rough surface walls, which where coldly painted, which I felt did not warrant their new pricing which was just $49.00, not so long ago. But due to the new surge in the South Beach, area which Is a tourist location for visitors and native /downstairs to the hotel was

Hotel provides a very nice breakfast with room. Very pleasant service staff. Near alot of restaurants and bars. Nice beach across the street.
