I have stayed at the Victoria since I was a small child. It is very well located, and is very reasonably priced. I love the mezzanine lounge. It is very homely and the piano there often has spontaneous recitals provided by the guests. That is wonderful.

Very clean and comfortable hotel in the heart on Melbourne. Staff friendly and willing to answer any questions. Enjoyed the indoor pool very much. spacious hotel room but bathroom very small but clean.

A nice quiet hotel in a convenient location. I appreciated the smoke free zone separated by the doors It was a bit hectic at the front desk but it was 2 o'clock check in time All arrangements went smoothly.

Great location. We booked the hotel cos of the spa & pool facilities but unfortunately we didnt use this facility cos the spa heat level wasnt up to expectations, cld hv been hotter. Overall great service & location. Wld consider staying there again in future trip. cheers, Kev & Jess

Perfect location if you want to be in central Melbourne. Close to everything. The superior double room was nice and newly refubished. Some standard rooms looked quite shabby. Service ok, but a bit grumpy

Can't beat the value for the location, but don't expect much from the hotel. While our room was clean and recently renovated, there was a lot of current construction/renovation going on so you have to deal with torn up carpet and the smell of fresh paint in the hallways. Also, you may want to ask for a room close to the elevators. We were given a room farthest away from the elevator which required us to haul our luggage down a hallway, through doors, past a non-working elevator, down another hallway, turning onto another hallway, then going to the end of that hallway, making a left, and finally getting to our room. Also, the spa in the fitness center only had two operational jets and had room temperature water....not extremely relaxing. Overall though, it's a very good value....especially if you're like us and not planning on spending much time in the hotel.

I had stayed at this hotel two years ago and it was my first choice when I returned to Melbourne with my daughter. Again I had a great stay with its central location the main drawcard. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was fine. I especially liked being able to check in early in the morning as we arrived in Melbourne around 8am. I would happily recommend this hotel to my friends and would stay here again.
