Room small for price paid .Ordered News paper which was not delivered. Dinner satisfactory. F or price paid probably would not stay there again as the elaborate decor does not extend past the foyer ,etc, area.

Very attentive staff. Valet car parking was a bit expensive at $30 a night,but there was nowhere else. Plenty of restaurants close to hotel,if you want to eat out. Casino was a 10 min walk and Melbourne city was a 5 min walk. Could not fault the hotel, everything was great.

Gorgeous hotel, fantastic location as practically on the Southbank so easy access to bars and restaurants and about a 10 min walk to the main shopping areas of Melbourne. The reception area of the hotel is beautiful.

Booked River View Room for NYE and was put on 21st floor so view was amazing. Received complimentary Sparkling Wine and beautiful handmade Haigh's chocolates which was a lovely surprise. Room very spacious/beautifully furnished. Large comfy bed with soft feather doona, beautiful bathroom with plenty of mirrors, great mini-bar (or as they call it - maxi-bar!). Soft white robes/slippers, paper delivered in mornings. Breakfast was superb. Freshly made pancakes, omelettes, eggs how-you-like-them, full buffet of sausages, baked beans, hash browns, scrambled eggs, etc, etc. Homemade porridge, muesli, smoothies, a help-yourself icecream bar, muffins, cakes - everything you could wish for and only A$35pp. All with gorgeous view over the Yarra. Aria lounge fantastic. Beautiful all-day cocktails and divine Devonshire Tea served in afternoons. The Langham has best location in Melbourne. We walked literally 2 minutes to all the best restaurants in Melbourne. Would definitely stay here again!

Hotel facilities were great. Paid extra for a corner river/city view, but thats not what we got, part river view, rest was view into adjacent commercial buildings, had to keep the curtians shut as office workers could see straight in.
