We had been warned about the noise from nightclubs but didn't find it to be a problem. No lifts and a lot of stairs, but the room was bright, clean and fairly spacious. Great location, right opposite a tram stop to the city and an easy walk to St Kilda beach.

1. Too near to the tram - very noisy. 2. Bed too small and not comfortable. 3. Service - had to collect own towels, toilet papers, coffee, tea, milk etc. 4. Did not even provide tissue paper in room, or face towel. 5. Blinds did not close completely.

Bathroom floor flooded from waste coming out of the shower drain on the sunday morning and still not fixed by the time I checked out on Monday morning. Also some other residents extremely loud through most of saturday night - wondering if there was a night manager on as i was a little concerned for safety given i was near a verandah they were partying on till nearly 5am! Also wasn't aware a nightclub nearby so noise was a problem throughout.

Walls had a layer of dust. Both bedside lamps were broken, and it took 4hrs for staff to figure out they had no replacement lightbulbs (after me reminding them twice) so I had to buy one myself and get them to reimburse me. Six days stay and the second bedside lamp still wasn't fixed. Cockroaches. Blocked toilet halfway through stay. Had to shove the furniture around so I could open the bar fridge. Had to shove the bed around to plug in the phone and alarm clock. Area was extremely noisy and the room was not at all insulated against noise. Window locks were very old and damaged. Would never stay there again even at half the price.

bedside light didn't work, tv past useby date (suggest a cheap Kmart replacement) and was in a stupid spot for viewing.Also the blinds need replacing because they didn't close properly.

Rooms were neat & clean with basic furnishings. Shampoo & Conditioner dispensers were good quality. Room looked into tree branches onto Fitzroy St Melbourne and beach was further away than led to believe. Using the tram public system was easy to move around the city and surrounds and easily located just outside the Motel. We did not get lost. Some other people staying at the Motel were extremely noisey / woke us up in the middle of the night by loudly knocking on our door. For basic accomodation in a realively lively location, it was good value.

Not far from the beach and has a secure car park. Situated on top of the shops which isn't too bad. There's a few weirdo's around if you're out late at night so be aware of this. Overall a reasonable proce for a reasonable motel.

The service received by us was impeccable. The staff did all we could've asked for and more to help us with whatever request we had. Even having stayed at 5 star accomodation before, i don't think i can say that i've ever had such helpful staff to deal with. It made our entire stay extremely pleasurable.

Sorry but this was a total disaster. The picture of the room on the intranet did not resemble in anyway shape or form the room we stayed in. The service we received from the gentleman at reception was abysmal. I would never stay there again and would not recommend it.

It was clean but the bed was very uncomfortable with broken springs and it was so light in the room as the blind were hopeless and the noise outside kept us awake most of the night. Can't say we will be going back there again.

Easystay at Bayside Melbourne provided us with a comfortable, pleasant stay. The hotel staff were great! Very polite and helpful, the room was clean on arrival but unfortunatly beds were not made everyday, this being said toliet and bedroom bins were emptied daily. Heating worked very well, especially with the cold weather. Prices were affordable and bookings were made in a short period of time. We would be happy to stay again in one of the Easystay hotels.
