Firstly, join their loyalty card scheme. When we checked-in we were immediately upgraded to a deluxe room which was a very nice surprise. We then got to a room and after about 10 minutes somebody was knocking.Read more It was room service with a complimentary platter of fruits and chocolate an extremly nice surprise.

The bed was very comfortable. Only one minor drawback is that you have to pay for parking but when you look at prices for parking locally it represents very good value for money. The meals on site are very expensive but if you prepay through a deal on their website it works out very cheap.

I will be staying here again.

A fantastic and reasonably priced hotel. Me and my partner decided to book here as we were attending a concert in Manchester and then flying out on holiday the following day and we were not disapointed.

ForRead more the small amount of time we stayed in the hotel we were very pleased. The rooms are excellent. Very homely. The staff were excellent.

Will definately book here again the next time we go away. They even have a complimentary coach that runs you to the airport.

Staff were pleasant on arrival but did not have the details of my amended booking. I booked a one nights stay and parking originally but when I realised the parking was off sight I changed my booking toRead more the dinner, bed and breakfast package. I asked where would we eat and what was included in the deal. The member of staff on reception did not know. She checked with someone else who said "Yes it's free you order off the normal menu". On arriving for dinner the waiter showed us to our table. He explained the menu to us. It was then very embarassing in front of other guests to say I had booked a package deal and how did that affect our menu choices. He insisted that only the two adult meals were included. I begged to differ. After a very lengthy chat with reception and each member of staff having a different opinion on what the deal should include they conceded the dinner was included for my entire family. After over 30mins of discussing the price of food I was not in the perfect frame of mind to sit down and eat it!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for the room - quiet frankly very worn and very dated, although a complete overhaul was to commence the next day, hence the lovely scaffolding outside our window.

The sofa bed for our yougest child was totally inadequate. A large slat was missing off the bed and we had to complain. The springs were also awful. Reception staff agreed but said there were no other family rooms available. A lady (I assume head of housekeeping) agreed the bed was unsafe and we were moved to the room next door. The springs, still the worst I have ever known, were only saved by using two quilts to try and make the best of a bad job.

Hilton - sort out your sofa beds and communicate all your deals to all your staff so they are fully informed to deal with customers in a way they expect to be treated.

Totally overpriced. Would not stay there again. Not the standard of previous Hilton's I have stayed at.

One night at this overpriced hotel, which devalues the Hilton brand, was enough for my wife and I.
First the bad points. Food overpriced (all starters $15) - reception staff offhand and unhelpful.- roomRead more small with worn furnishings and shower not working.
The good points - the concierge guys were very helpful and advised us where to get food elsewhere at a fair price.
The best - we only had to stay one night.
Our room was equivalent size and a lower standard than many Premier Travel Inns, which are half the cost of Hilton. I'll be staying there in future.
