Excellent location just off Plaza Mayor. Room was compact but I was travelling alone so space was not an issue for me. I had access to everything I needed including a safe at a very reasonable cost. My stay was at the end of October so I did not need to use the air conditioning system and therefore can't report on it's efficiency. Would stay there again due to the convenience of the location.

superb location, honestly, one of the best location anyone can thinl of staying in a major city ... walking distance to great restos and bars, metro close by, easy to get around neighbourhood, and very friendly and helpful staff. we'll go back there anytime.

This wonderful little hostel was just perfect for us, when you travel just for a few days you only need a place to sleep. What a place to just sleep in, wonderful rooms clean and cheep. The only thing that wasn't better than our expactations was the perfume in our rooms, it was not plesant to smell the perfume they sprayed in the rooms every day. Everything else was perfect.

As with a lot of hostels in madrid,it is only a part of the building and shares the entrance with private owners of apartments,the reception is on the third floor.there is no camera in the entrance hall where i had a close call with a pickpocket who had obviously blagged his way into the building because the the front door is always locked.if you are used to hostels its great but if not,pay a little extra for 24 hour reception and peace of mind
