We found the man who checked us in rude and he didn't provide basic information like where the breakfast was served, what time it was served at, check-out time etc. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to others because of this rudeness.

An excellent location, but the service was rather average (not bad) and pricing is rather high. I had a better hotel in Barcelona for a much lower price. Overall impression is rather good.

This was an excellent location, it couldn't have been better. A really nice hotel, very clean. I would definitely recommend it. It was a little noisey at night time but that's to be expected in Madrid (especially when it's located just off Gran Via) but that wouldn't wouldn't put me off. Great price for such a good hotel.

If your looking for a cheap and cheerful place with a great location this is your hotel. For the price, I paid £60 incl a basic but substantial Breakfast, I don't think this hotel can be better. I would certainly stay again and would recommend it most highly. I didn't find noise a problem, Madrid doesn't sleep so anywhere in the city will have some noise. If however your budget could stretch a bit higher and your looking for something romantic then this is probably not the top choice but you could certainly do a lot worse. Tip- If your on business take a travel iron because there are no ironing facilities in the hotel. They can organise an external laundry but this takes 24 hours.

The hotel is very near to Puerto del Sol. It's a old building , so rooms are little but clean and pretty. We arrived very late (at 11.30 pm) but everything was organised. The breakfast service was good. We liked and recommend this hotel

The reception staff recommended very good restaurants which charged reasonable prices for excellent quality and quantity of food. The staff could very easily have sent us (unsuspecting tourists) to higher priced restuarants. We felt they were professional and fair to the clientele. The breakfast provided by the hotel offered a very good and tasty selection of breakfast food.

The underground is just around the corner, and the location is excellent. The breakfast room was cosy and for the price the breakfast was good.

Good-sized, clean rooms. Good buffet breakfast. Definitely a great value for the money, especially considering the location. Ask for a corner room if you can; they have more modern furniture and better views.

The location of this hotel is excellent close to the Plaza del Sol and Plaza Mayor. The rooms we had (4 nights total with 2 rooms) were great and the staff very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay there again when I have the chance to return to wonderful Madrid
