Very enjoyable hotel on superb location in the heart of town; good breakfast. Even though the hotel is located in a busy area, the room (on the innerside of the hotel, was very quiet.

Excellent location, within walking distance to many attractions. The room was very noisy, I could hear everything that was happening on top floor and ubfortunatelly I had a lot of dificulties to sleep... Good breakfast and staff.

A group of 12 of us stayed in this excellent hotel for 3 nights. Everyone of us said that if we return to Madrid, then we would stay at this hotel again. The hotel is in an excellent location, our rooms all had balconies overlooking the streets, and for value for money, this hotel in this location has to be unbeatable. I look forward to returning some time soon.

This recently-renovated hotel is steps from Madrid's centrally-located Puerta de Sol. The front desk staff are all wonderfully friendly and helpful, and multi-lingual too. The breakfast buffet is just fine, served in a loft-like lounge which has 24-hour free internet computers as well.

When we arrived they had no record of the reservation. After much searching they found it but gave us a very dark room in the back. However they willingly changed it for us when we asked them to do so.

Ideal for a family visit to Madrid. Children sharing the same room were not charged. Right in the heart of the city - only one minute from Sol. A short walk to the Paseo del Prado and the Museum itself. A short walk also brings you to the Plaza Mayor. The buffet breakfast on the top storey, under the rafters was superb. Free internet access available here all day.

While at the registration desk (for various reasons) a number of people were dissatisfied with their room rate. It changed dialy during the Xmas to New Year time span varying from Euro $115 to $168 for the same room. Noise from street made sleeping difficult--until 4 AM when some what quiet. Beds were extra-very firm. And two single beds pushed together equalled one double bed. Our room rate over Internet was respected and we were not overcharged.

Bathroom very nice (but small), nice, high tech shower. My husband's biggest beef: no English TV. That was true also in Seville, but not in Barcelona. AC worked well. Excellent location. I thought the breakfast room was very good. The thing that this hotel has which I thought was a huge plus and have never found anywhere else: FREE INTERNET ACCESS via two computers in the breakfast room!!!!! - just great. Thought the area at the end of the breakfast room would make a nice, small lounge.

The hotel is EXTREMELY centrally-located. I cannot think of a better spot to be based in while in Madrid - right in Puerta del Sol. It is convenient to transport, sights, food, shopping, and night life. Free internet access at all High Tech hotels is very useful. The rooms are clean (albeit a tad small) with bar fridge (not very common at all in Spanish hotels) but no coffee / tea making facilities in the room (common in Spanish hotels).
