Absolute topclass location! The room was among the smallest doubles we've had but we would recommend the hotel anyway. No matter the thin walls, the unprivate bathroom. We stayed for 4 days and will go back if we go to Madrid again.

The family room is quite small and the bunk bed does not seem very sturdy, so we had to bring the mattress to the floor. The hotel is close to a major street, so we could hear noise all night. The area around the hotel has many prostitutes, and we could see them any time of the day. The best feature is the proximity to the metro and many attractions. The fact that they have free internet access is also a plus.

More suited to young couples and not families with young children (or grandparents) due to the proximity of red light activities. Great location for sightseeing and restaurants. Hotel reception staff did not aquit themselves well especially when my son got stuck in the lift for 30 minutes, no apology and no gesture of appeasement. Rest of staff were very nice, breakfast excellent. Some of the rooms were very noisey. No bar. Would I stay there again? Probably not. Would I return to Madrid? Yes.

Was very pleased with the hotel, especially the location as it was very central. Gran Via metro stop within a minutes walk. Hotel very secure. You have to buzz an intercom to get into the reception. Reception manned 24 hours. Reception very helpful when ordering a taxi very early in the morning, by giving you a wake-up call. Hotel spotless with very modern interior. Would definately reccommend this hotel and stay here if returning to Madrid.
