Small hotel, very clean and in the center of the city (5 min from Puerta del Sol). Wi fi gratis in every room and vary nice staff. But the price is too high.

For those not looking for luxury and spaciousness, but only requiring great location, clean/efficient rooms, and the perfect combination of great location in very active area and yet still quiet--this place is perfect. Right in the middle of ethe most exciting areas of Madrid, one block off the Gran Via and just easy walking distance to the pedestrian heart of the city, but tucked into a street so narrow that no major traffic can get through resulting in a very quiet night's rest, I regard this as the perfect budget traveller's hotel. Not luxurious, not even "charming," but absolutely clean, and rooms are equipped with everything you need, are small but perfectly adequate. We would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to any of our friends.

Speaking English would be helpful. The staff should have knowledge of how to get around. i.e. how to get to train station.
