The hardest mattress of any bed of any hotel in the World.I travel extensively in 4 /5 star hotels and although i have stayed at the Wellington before i always assumed the mattresss problem was my bad luck but every stay its so hard.I will NOT be staying there again. That aside,for lovers of old world glamour please stay there and solve your bad back at the same time .Or as in my case sleepless night.

An excellent hotel. Luxurious, clean bedrooms with everything we needed and more. Comfortable, stunning public areas, particularly the entrance hall and bar areas. The pool area was nice - although we did think it closed a little early and was freezing cold, even in August!! The doormen were brilliant - really helpful and polite. This hotel was an absolute gem in this stunning city. Our stay was fabulous and one we hope to repeat.

A wonderful positive surprise with a big balcony outside our room on the 8th floor. They provide very good service when asking standard requests. If you ask for something a bit beside the standard they show surprisingly little flexibility. Good breakfast!

Nice hotel in a wonderful location. Service is a little erratic (in common with Madrid), but made up by use of an outdoor swimming pool and impressive, if slightly guady, interior. Great value.
