Nice and clean hotel in a very beautiful area. Facilities are very basic and therefore good enough if you do Madrid-in-a-weekend. Breakfast could be a bit better.

Unfriendly, almost rude staff at the reception desk. We had to ask every question at least twice to get an acceptable explanation (in English and Spanish). Whenever we turned the air conditioner in the room, we sensed a very strong smell of cigarettes -- this is in the hotel full of no smoking signs. Overall impression -- very poor value for the money.

This hotel was in an excellent, walkable position for the sights. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was basic but ok. We didn't find the reception staff helpful at all which was the only down side to our stay.

Perfect location for central Madrid. Clean and Basic. Reception staff do not speak English but are formal and helpful. Located on busy side street with many bars, so can be noisey at night. Ask for a romm located at the back. Close 2 metro.

very central. Incredibly helpful staff when we had our our wallet and mobile phone pick pocketed in town. (be aware at all times). If you get off at 'Seville' metro stop it is much easier than Sol to find the hotel and only a 5 min walk. Room service goes until gone 6pm too! An absolutely great 3 star hotel!

This hotel has an amazing location very near Puerta del Sol. It has a garage. Also, we paid for a regular room, but got to stay in a suite with a large terrace! Will definitely stay there again. I recommend it.
