The hotel itself is not that special. But the location is more then great! Nice bars are just around the corner and you stay in the middel of Madrid! Nice hotel for younger people!

I would recommend 6th floor rooms with a view. Down floors rooms are noisy at night cause of heavy street traffic. Some rooms are really tiny, we were first placed on the 4th floor, windows openening to a service courtyard ( there are several courtyards), no street noise there, but some equipment and plumbing tubes running on the outer wall give a very bad noise 24h, lack of air inside the room.

The location is outstanding in term of transportation and very centralised. However it is too noisy for the room on the street side. The beds in the room is not convenient and one of the two single bed in my room was so noisy.

Rooms a little small, the first room they gave us (a twin), wasn't up to much so we asked to be moved (we did book a double room). But in it's favour the hotel is in an excellent location about 7 minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor and 15 minutes from the Royal Palace. You also have a tube station about 200 mtrs away.

The room was small for 3 persons, but we only used it as a base for our trips around in Madrid, and that was excellent! Perfect location.

Very clean central hotel, but very basic and very old fashioned. Was a loud stay as quite a few groups were staying on the same floor as us!!! Breakfast was ok but i would not recommend eating in the hotel resturant at night it is not very good and there are loads of nice resturants near by.

The hotel was closer to the metro that mention in the map. everything was close,within 2-10 minutes. Our stay was for 7 nights and we were out doing the usual tourist stuff. We normally stay away from the Irish bars but we went this very small bar 10 minute from the hotel and had a great time. And nothing is complete til you see a soccer match, we are GAA fans, so it was different. There is a cafe just up the street as you come out of the hotel to your right great for breakfast.
