The Laris is very well situated, so that Madrid's main galleries are within walking distance and the Gran Via Metro station is only 250 metres away. The accoustic insulation of the hotel is poor so thsat disturbance from inconsiderate guests can be a problem at night.

we had to move the first night do to problems in the hotel. Be we were handeled very well. /Erik ps: in forehand i was angry with Hotel club due to bad handling in UK Liverpool. So I will not recomend Hotel Club to anyone

The hotel is quite old, and some facility doesn't work. The breakfast is a bit too simple. However the service is ok. The location is quite convenient, and it is close to shops, restaurants and museums.

Situated behind the Gran Via the Laris Hotel location is excellent. The staff were freinedly and the room clean and not too noisy. The breakfast buffet was larger than most hotels with a great selection. Overall I could not fault it and it was great value.

excellent location for city centre, metro access. plentiful and tasty breakfast worth including. would benefit from coffee making facilities in the rooms. Air conditioning an unexpected bonus. service very friendly and helpful, would go again.

Right in the middle of the red light district.Drug-dealing and prostitution all night long.Avoid this rather shabby place.There are hundreds of other options on the other side of Gran Via.

A very nice and good hotel in all case. I have stayed on many hotels in big towns in Europa, this in Madrid is very very good. I will gladly stay there again!

Small friendly hotel close to the major tourist sites. I've been told that many of these hotels can be noisy but this one was fairly good in this respect. It is on the edge of a seedy area but we didn't feel threatened. Not too many facilities but this is waht you expect at these prices. We would stay there again.

Right in the prostitution street, altough they do not bother you is not that confortable walking trough with your kids after dinner.
