The High Tech Cliper is a modern 3-star hotel ideally situated at the corner of the Gran Via and less than 1 kilometre from the main historical monuments and sites of Madrid. Entirely renovated in 1992, the establishment welcomes clients in an elegant and contemporary atmosphere and offers a large choice of facilities and services to meet the expectations of both business travellers and tourists.
Its 57 contemporary rooms are decorated in light colours and are equipped with satellite television, Internet connection, and hydromassage shower. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast served in a spacious dining room. A meeting room is available for your use in addition to free Internet access. Our family of 4 had a very small room. We had a quad room and hardly had room for our luggage. The towels are nice, but toiletries are not replenished every day.

The location is good, right in the centre of the city. The room is also good and clean. The hotel staff is very helpful with the information you need while staying there. The only bad thing is their breakfast. The food is not fresh.

Hotel was in a location convenient for the metro and shopping. There are nice plazas within walking distance. The proximity to the main street was not desireable because the noise level. The street had a terrible urine stench. The a/c was extremely weak. Breakfast was offered for 8 euros, and seemed to be a good value.

The criteria on the description of what in in every room didnt match there was no iron or ironing board in the room. The breakfast room wasnt stocked if you didnt get down to breakfast before 9.30 there was very little bread and juices left.

We found this hotel excellent. the location can't be beat it's so central and easy access to everywhere. we were a stag do of 15 and the staff were brilliant, very accomodating and put up with us well. The breakfasts were ok, bacon eggs beans what more do you need to help a hangover. They also kept are bags safe for us in the hotel till later in the day when our flight was. all the lads agreed if we were to return to Madrid this would be the hotel they would return to with girlfriends, wifes or for a another stag party - although still getting over this one.
