A very pleasant hotel, twenty-five metres from a Metro Station, (Velasquez), comfortable beds, excellent bathroom, good hot and cold breakfast buffet, helpful staff on reception. Quite expensive - but this can be expected for a four star hotel in the middle of a busy shopping area in a capital city. Recommended.

Internet, though advertised on the website, didnt work at the hotel. Staff could not help to make it work. I am an advanced and frequent user of mobile hotspots and normally manage to get configured the most unaccesible access points. Thre are very few chances that the problem was in my setup.

My nephew and I were happily surprised at the surroundings and wonderful service at the Hotel Catolina. The staff was very helpful, service oriented, and easy to speak with. The room was beautiful. The bathroom was a surprise after having traveled to other places between London, and the northern part of Spain and Southern part of France and been sorely disappointed.

I personally think that apart from the front desk all the stuff needs to be educated on how to to their job as good as a 4 star hotel should be expected! all the rest is quite nice and cosy! very good beds but some noise early in the morning on the corridors!
